Bert,
I think you told me about this one some time back. See above link. A tree-trimmer apparantly dropped a large limb across some powerlines. The arcing burned one line off its bushing on the pole and it came down on some 220 volt home-service lines, upping the potential of several nearby houses! You can see the arcing of the incoming home service lines as the melt off the houses. One house arcs along its gutters and everything! I can imagine evrything plugged-in inside the effected homes burned to cinders!
Anyhow, I will try and find the link to the parade arc/jacobs ladder.
Sorry for the confusion!
Fred

: Look at this one!!! It is during a night parade (maybe marti gras) when
: something (maybe the top of a float, or a foil helium balloon) comes in
: contact between two phases of a 19.9 or more kV powerline. There is a
: loud, bright arc and everyone is shouting and screaming. One guy is
: yelling over and over for his girlfriend, when suddenly there is another
: loud, bright arc-flash between phases. The cameraman swings is camera up
: to the lines and catches one of the very best videos of a jacob's
: ladder-style arc ever! It is rapidly traveling ALL THE WAY UP THE CITY
: BLOCK (!!!) between two phases of the line, and is about ten feet long.
: This is one of the very best arc footage videos I ever saw!!
