I was going to take it to the Tesla Society here in Colorado Springs but they had gone bankrupt several years earlier. I went back to the Science teachers and asked if they would take another try at it. They turned me down because they were concerned about the danger.
Is there anyone in Colorado or nearby who is willing to look at the Coil and see if they can power it up? I have instructions but I don't understand the Electrical Engineering lingo. I'm willing to modestly compensate good results.
I am a Teslaphile and am determined to make my colleagues and students aware of him. I have recently discovered that I have been in his home in Cripple Creek, CO. as a young Actor. The recent film, PRESTIGE, has my students wanting to know more about Tesla. I would enjoy letting my students see the power of his genius in an operating Tesla Coil.
