Hi

I have a madagascan lesser hedgehog tenrec that is almost 2 years old. I got him when he was 6 weeks old and he is a pretty healthy hedgehog. However, today, when I got home from work, he was curled over with his mouth wide open and he looked like he was about to throw up. A few minutes later, he coughed up about 4 pieced of sawdust, fairly big. Should I be worried?

He was well and very active when I handled him before going to work... And after he coughed up the sawdust, he looked ill, his eyes looked droopy and he looked lethargic. he also ate 3 mealworms rather enthusiastically
