sorry for not posting sooner but been tired and stressed. Finally finished radiation...and not one minute too soon. Something must have shifted in my back. With L-3 totally gone the tumor must have moved because now I neuropathy in the lower part of my thigh in front on the left leg and the lower part of my thigh in back on the right leg. I get nerve tingling and shooting pain in both spots. L-3 spinal nerves are those that go to the lower part of you thigh - quads and hamstrings. BUT I no longer has back spasms or really any pain in the lower part of my spine. I have 3 spots that are tender to touch but no real bone pain and that is a miracle. I do have new bone pain in my left hip but it is only a 2 or 3. When I sit there isn't any pain at all but if I walk more then 20 feet the the pain increases to a 2 or 3 and if I go very far - like a hallway at the VA it goes as high as a 6. Oxycodone helps greatly to control this pain and I can live with it. This is far better then I ever expected to happen. Don't ya just love my little miracle? I sure do. take GOoD care
