Welcome to the club. What you will find, as I did, is if you wear a pin, or a hat, or anything, survivors will come up and talk to you. It's like "I had it and I am still here too!" I missed my mammogram too and then was diagnosed with triple negative. I was 55 when diagnosed. I will be 68 this week. People used to say "get a second opinion" on surgery options. Do what you are comfortable with; after all, you are the captain of your ship. Good luck. Please keep us informed. Many of us just lurk in the background.
