Re: Scared about recurrance

In the beginning I thought about recurrence all of the time. Every pain I felt, my mind automatically went there. Then I decided not to live in fear so I honestly don't worry about it anymore. It will come back for some and not for others. Some people whose never had cancer will get a diagnosis. Some people whose gone through cancer will live another 50-60 years or longer and die from a heart attack. My point is, every ones story is different. There was a person in the church I grew up in who recently passed away from recurring breast cancer. My sister just got quiet because she thought hearing it might bother me or put something on my mind. I saw it on her face and I immediately shut it down.
