absolutely every emotion/fear/concern you are experiencing is normal and we have ALL been there...you are NOT alone!!...yes, the period between diagnosis and the start of treatment is the worst...but once you have the info you need and begin treatment, you will feel better because you are now beginning to fight the nasty beast...you will be doing all you can to treat the disease...
everyone gave great advice...find what works for you...I used the time to develop a support network by informing friends/family and joining a local support group..(I even went on a cruise during this time to take my mind off my diagnosis and feel normal for at least a few days...it worked!).....try to stay off the internet...many sites will not give you correct info and will only increase your anxiety...the only sites I found trustworthy were american cancer society and breastcancer.org....but there are many types of BC and every case will be unique...so don't make decisions based on the internet, find a trustworthy oncologist and ask lots of questions!
Remember, BC treatment has grown significantly in just the last couple years...no matter what stage your cancer is, there's hope there will be a treatment plan for you out there....every person on this site can attest to that...just take it one day at a time, one step at a time....stay positive & you will get there...
you have our prayers and support and return here often so we can support you the whole journey...statistically, every time you hear someone died of BC, remember that MILLIONS and MILLIONS have survived and living wonderful lives! (I'm one of them )
