I am glad you were able to be with Kay and friends on Thanksgiving. As I read your 1st post, I thought of the movie “The Doctor.” It is based on a true story of a doctor who was flip, distant, and not concerned or connected with his cancer patients. Then he got cancer and saw himself in those who treated him. Of course, I don’t wish cancer on anyone, but when I hear horror stories of the poor treatment like you got from medical staff, I always think at some point in their lives, they will experience cancer with someone they deeply love, and perhaps this will make them stop and rethink their own words and actions.
