I totally agree with everything Pam posted. I know how scary hearing that diagnosis is. I had a lumpectomy in April, just finished chemo and am doing daily radiation. For me, the toughest part was where you are right now - my breast surgeon requires a full body CT scan, bone scan and breast MRI before doing surgery and it takes time to have all those tests done. Once the surgery was finished, I had a treatment plan and realized I could do this. Taking off work is a personal decision, I work full time and took off the 4 months that I received chemo. The chemo was very doable, but you do feel tired and I was grateful I was able to stay home and take care of myself. I do know women who worked through it. I started back to work 2 weeks ago and also started daily radiation. So far everything has been good. You will make it through this!!!
