My best advice is to stay off the internet! Half of what we see isn't true. Let your surgeons/Onc tell you what's really going on. I have never heard of gata3. I don't know if you read Zoe's response to your original post a few threads down on this board, but please do.
I have found over many years of more than one seriously tragic event in my life that meds don't help much, but staying busy and being with friends or a support group very regularly is what helped the most. Nearly all anti depressants make me loopy, and I had a bad wreck because of one of them.
I really do believe that waiting is the very hardest part. Do you have a surgery date yet? Hope so. Please let us know.
We are here for you. Don't feel bad about ranting, raving, swearing, or anything else. That's what this board is for. We have all been very freaked out at one point or another.
In the meantime, try to stay as busy as you can. It really will help to take your mind off things. I know it's easier said than done. Fear and anxiety can be literally paralyzing. I know this from personal experience.
Many prayers and HUGS. Please let us know how you're doing, and post any time.
