I'm so very sorry to hear this. I have read Zoe's post, which I found very encouraging, Also, I would like to tell you about a very close friend of mine who was diagnosed with stage 4, mets to the bone in 9 places, after being in remission for many years. She is on the same regimen (Ibrance, etc,) as you and is doing very well. In fact, her last PET scan did not light up at all! (Mind you, it had lit up in 9 different places 7 months ago.) She told me this means she will always have cancer and will always be treated for it, but the picture has changed for her in a more positive way. She said the cancer will not ever go away but it can be managed, and sometimes very well, as it has been so far with her. My hope is that you will feel encouraged. Know that I will pray for you.
Hugs & prayers,
Mary
