Hi Queen, Welcome to the club no one wants to be a member of. Once you meet with your doctors and a plan is put into place, you will calm down and be ready to fight. My best words are ones the doctor gave me: "Stay off the internet!" Breast cancer differs from person to person, and the internet gives generalizations. It was hard, but I did stay away. Looking up what you don't know is only going to make it worse for your mind. If at all possible, bring someone to your appointments. My husband really stepped in and took the lead. He surprised the heck out of me because for over 30 years, I was the control freak in the house, and his job was to say "Yes, Dear." Most importantly, be sure you are comfortable with your team. If you have doubts, change doctors. We kept a notebook where we wrote notes about each appointment and wrote questions to address at the next appointment. Sometime those questions come in the middle of the night. You will get through it. Come here to whine, cry, and ask questions. The women on this site are kind, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. Good luck. We are here for you.
