Sorry for all you are going through. You are never alone, so many have gone before you and making the journey now. 14 yrs. ago I had a long journey that took several years. I started with a cellulitis in my left breast after a bi-lat. mast. with tissue expanders. I battled multiple infections for almost a year. I ended up having the expander removed and start the implant process all over again. When the infection finally cleared I went with saline implants that ended with capsular contracture. I had them removed and had the DIEP procedure done by another PS. All these yrs. later I know it was so frustrating and I thought it would never end, but it did. I am stronger for it, learned so much and found a great PS. Try to hang in there, ask questions, be pro-active about yourself and do all you can to fight this disease and continue to be a survivor.
