latissimus flap

My first BC diagnosis was in 2001. Lumpectomy and radiation. Second diagnosis was in 2013. Bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction. All was well with expanders and subsequent implants for 18 months. In 2015, I developed an infection in the right breast, the one radiated in 2001. Implant was removed and replaced but radiated skin refused to heal so the implant was removed and skin was allowed to rest for 6 months. In January 2016, I had a latissimus flap procedure. This involved removing a section of skin and muscle from my back and tunneling in under my arm to the front to cover the implant. I am healing nicely but the right implant sits much higher than the left. I've purchased mastectomy bras to try to even out the look, but I'm not having much success. I am curious if anyone on this site has had a similar experience. Understand that I am extremely thankful to God for allowing me to be healed from breast cancer and to live my life free of cancer. My appearance is not nearly as important as it used to be. After all, I am 68 years old! Any feedback is appreciated. Happy Easter! He is risen!
