Yay!!!!! Girlfriend, you are already a survivor! Prayers for a fast, uneventful recovery.
I had a lumpectomy and all of my nodes removed 5+ years ago. Very little pain. It was out patient surgery, and I went home the same day. Only needed ice for pain, but I did have pain meds, but they weren't necessary.
Just rest for a few days and don't try to bounce back too quickly. Pamper yourself. You will do fine - I can tell from your attitude.
