I also agree with Carolinapam. Your feelings are very normal and please don't ever apologize to anyone for how you feel. I am a survivor of 5 & 1/2 years, and I do volunteer work with survivors, so I meet a lot of them. From that experience, I can tell you that as far as anxiety and other unpleasant feelings go, it really doesn't matter what kind of breast cancer you have or your stage, grade, status, type of surgery you had, or whether or not you had chemo. Cancer can be a frightening and devastating diagnosis, and however you feel should be respected. Do know that these feelings will eventually become less intense as you move through the rest of your journey. Also know that you are never alone.
