I am a worrier, too. The worst time for me is the period between having a test and getting the results. So here's what I do: right after the test I will ask the technician if he/she sees any problems. Of course they will say that only the dr. can give me the results, but I closely watch their body language and expressions when they say this. Some of them don't have very good poker faces. The mamo tech. at my hospital bless her heart - will even say something like "I don't see anything to worry about, but the dr. will give you a full report." Little comments like that will save me a whole week of worrying! You might want to try it.
