You got a lot of good advice already, I would second what CArolinaPam said, take someone with you and have them take notes (and ask questions if they want) the amount of information you get it a lot to digest all at once and it really helps to have another set of ears to hear everything. Also, make sure you get someone you like, I still see my surgeon and she advises me on a variety of topics related to breast cancer, and asks great questions. It is an important relationship in this journey and you want to make sure you are taking it with the right person.
