Hello folks.. It's been awhile, so I thought I'd drop in and say howdy... Yep, I'm still above ground - thanks to Uncle giving me numerous radiation treatments and very spendy cancer meds for the last 3 years.

Anyway, I've been looking for some of the old boards. I see Popeye has a board (https://mb.boardhost.com/Foamers/), and it looks like Izzy has a board (https://mb.boardhost.com/Get-Real/index.html), but I no longer see Salt's board or Desi's board.

I haven't seen Popeye or Citizen posting in quite awhile, so I'm afraid they may have joined Mav in the here-after.

Whatever happened to the old posters: Undergrad, Dara, FoxFire, gigi, etc? I think WatchDog may still be posting at Popeye's (aka Deplorabilis Aggravtum), but I'm not sure that is him?

Today is 9/11/2024 - 23 years after we were attacked. I certainly hope it doesn't happen again, but with the millions of illegals that have been coming into the US there's probably a few thousand terrorists coming across with them who would like nothing more than to destroy the US in anyway they can.

I'm thinking back 58 years to when I was drafted. There were a couple Mexican guys in our Company who were good on the guitar, and one of their favorite songs to play was Long Tall Texan. I liked it....

I may not be around again, so you guys take care of yourselves... By the way, Snidely, thanks for keeping the board up.
