Once the plagarism in her speech became known, the Trump spinmeisters conceded that a team of writers wrote the speech, but that it contained "fragments that reflected her own thinking ..." (spin-speak for plagiarism)

Manafort goes on national TV this morning and throws Melania under the bus by saying "She knew exactly what she was doing"

15 minutes later Manafort goes on TV once again and denies that any plagarism occured

15 minutes later, RNC chairman Rancid Pubus issues a statement saying that if it were up to him, the speech writer would be fired

What a fustercluck!!!! If you're going to plagiarize, why would you be stupid enought to plagarize from a speech by the current First lady? WTF!!! It was hilarious listening to Paul Manafort, an accomplished liar who can effortlessly spin steaming turds into strands of gold, try to dig himself and the Trump campaign out of the hole they had dug for themselves. After months of being able to tell lie after lie, exaggeration after exaggeration, doubling down on those lies and exaggerations, and never being called out by the press, Manafort genuinely seemed like a deer caught in headlights this morning when nobody was buying his BS.
