It's admittedly just a pipe dream that the Democrats might take control of both houses of congress in 2016, given the huge number of steaming right-wing turds that need to be flushed away to a swirling oblivion. So, after hopefully getting part of the job done this November, a grassroots plan is being hatched to complete the job of retaking the congress from the do-nothing Republicans in 2018. The organizers are current and former Bernie Sanders staffers, and the plan is called "Brand New Congress". Sounds like something well worth getting behind. It's always pizzed me off that Democrats don't show up to vote in off year year elections ... the worst offenders are young Democrats. Hopefully this movement can take off and we can change all that. It's certainly worth a try ...
