there are three things we can be sure of in 2016 ...

1. For the 3rd straight time, George W Bush will not be speaking (or even be present) at the Republican convention. In fact, like Voldemort, his name will almost certainly not be mentioned by anyone for fear of dredging up memories of the miserable failings of his disasterous presidency.
   
   
2. In contrast, the previous and current Democratic Presidents will play prominent roles at their convention, and their records of accomplisment will be proudly trumpeted as a reason to put a Democrat in the White House for another eight years.
   
   
3. Despite the fact that Obama inherited a free-falling economy with the highest rate of unemployment any President has inherited since the great depression, he has:
   • cut the unemployment rate to 5% (Romney promised 6%)
   • produced 70 straight months of private sector job growth (a record)
   • reduced the budget deficit by 70%.
   Republicans will call that an unmitigated disaster and hope that they can convince low-information voters to return them to power so that they can destroy the economy once again with the brain-dead trickle-down economic policies of Obama's predecessor (who shall not be named)!!! Now THAT'S what I call chutzpa!!
