1. There are those threatening to SUE if he gets nominated, so he'd be a FOOLISH CHOICE for Republicans to nominate for POTUS.

2. If he DID somehow get nominated, his own wacky extremism and his mean-spirited nature means he'd have LITTLE CHANCE of winning the general election - HILLARY would almost SURELY defeat him.

3. The 'snake oil salesman' metaphor is apt, because he is ultimately a DECEIVER, much like Mussolini, Idi Amin or HITLER. He'll probably gain more ground if/when Carson and Trump fade from the scene, but it still won't be enough to get him to the WH, because most Americans will never support him.
