What a lot of people don't realize is that the NRA is primarily a lobbying group for the gun manufacturers. They don't care how many Americans get killed by guns, they just want to make sure that their right to supply assault weapons to every demented nutjob who wants one isn't infringed on.

Wayne La Pierre, their spokesman, is a despicable douchebag and should be shot ... it would be delightful irony.
