At about 2:00 yesterday afternoon my wife got a call from a former work colleague asking if we'd like a couple of free 30 yard line tickets to the MSU-Iowa game, with complementary parking next to the stadium. Since the game started at 8:00, and Indianapolis is a 3 1/2 hour drive from here, my initial thought was "It would be nuts to make the drive". 15 minutes later we were on the road ... best decision ever ... WHAT A GAME!!! We celebrated after the game with a hoard of fellow MSU fans, hit the road back home at 1:00, rolled in about 4:30, slept for 5 hours, and in 2 hours we're heading out to an MSU women's basketball game ... absolute insanity!!. I expect to collapse in a heap around 6:00.
