He keeps saying that he's a 21st century candidate, but so many elements of his message are relics of the cold war era. His hard-line stance on normalizing relations with Cuba makes him look like a dinosaur. To be fair, he pretty much mirrors the Republican party's prime directive, which is to return America to the way it was in the 1950's. He had a great chance to be the future of the Republican party by being more of a pragmatic centrist, but (IMHO) has marginalized himself as a presidential candidate by his pandering to the hard-line elements in his party. Sadly, I don't see him as being his own man.
Christie could be a real contender, but I don't think his blustery east-coast tuff guy schtick will play well in most of the country. He's not even particularly popular in New Jersey right now.
I personally think Kasich will win the Republican nomination if he can garner enough financial support, and that he would give Hillary a run for her money. Hillary would kick the azzes of every other Republican, even Bush (who is almost as inarticulate as his brother), and especially Trump.
