Yes, I have had a lot of law enforcement officers in my family and I have seen how hard they work, and in the small towns they are more respected but in the cities, they deal with such disrespect..

Anytime I am face to face with an officer whether it is walking down the street or in a store etc., I stop and tell them "thank you" for helping to keep me safe...It's the least I can do for someone who puts their life on the line for me every day..
