My name is Lavada Lee Green Roberts, daughter of Joanna Griffin Green, and granddaughter of Earlene Lavada Carnes Griffin, ggranddaughter of LaVada Orlena Bailey Carnes. My family moved from Texas before I was born and although we went to visit, I never knew much about my ancestors, except for Ma Carnes who I met a few times when I was very young. I just wanted to thank you for such interesting material. Since I was named after Ma, I always wanted to know more.
