My Cousin brought me back from Utah, where I had taken my husband's ashes and put them on his parents' graves as he asked. We were really tired, and thought we would get a room in Bend, OR. There were none to be had, due to a bird 'convention'. We had to keep going. We finally pulled over to the side of the road and slept. The next morning, we could see a 'lake' of birds on both sides of the road. The people said those birds stopped there in mid-migration and would stay til they'd rested, a few days, then they'd go on. It was awesome.
