The devil puts evil thoughts into people and they follow through with his plans. We as born again Christians can pray for protection which I do when I get in my car and go anywhere. I have to go to Walmart by myself so I pray a lot every day. My 23 year old grandson can quote you the prayer I always prayed when he was young and we went anywhere.

I can quote the entire 91st Psalm and often do when I am home or going somewhere. We MUST know the word. If someone took our Bibles away and any other way to look up the word what would you do. It's the word that is our sword of the Spirit. Remember we are to put on the amour of God? "And take the Sword of the Spirit,which is the Word of God" Ephesians 6:13-18 and one I use a lot Psalm 34:7 the angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him and delivers them. Memorize that.

Hebrews 1:14 refers to angels as ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation.
