With all the flooding going on, seems like we need more boats then cars! So far except for some flooded roads, nothing unusual after heavy rains, we have been spared from flash floods. Have had alerts out but don't seem anything bad or unusual. BUT...the way it is now, that could change. Saw pics in Indiana where some of my family are, they have flooded parking lots! Some folks came out from shopping to having to wade to their cars.

I remember that happening to us a few years ago. Went to Kmart which sat at the bottom of a steep hill. We were in there 30-45 minutes. Lights kept flickering but stayed on. We knew it was storming but never paid attention.When we went up front to check out, we saw a lake! LOL

We waded ankle deep part way to our car which sat half way up the hill.We were lucky. People who parked in front of the store with low to the ground vehicles had water enter in when they opened their doors.Have you ever been stranded in a flood?
Never saw nothing like it in all my life!
