My oldest son said the same thing Elaine. We got him piano lessons because he wanted to learn and he hated it. I think it was the discipline of practice he didn't like. Then when he grew up he told me he wished he had continued. He played trombone in the high school band. When I was a child I was fascinated by the accordion but never learned to play anything. The band at school gave us a few lessons on the flute.
