This happened where I worked about 3 years ago. Either someone got a check out of the mailbox or someone at where it was sent got it and washed it. We didn't lose anything because it was the banks fault for cashing a bogus check. It was not our bank that cashed it so the bank that cashed it lost the money. This man should not lose anything either. If he does then he needs to file a compklaint against his bank. It is happening a lot from what I hear. The only one I pay by mail is one that charges a fee to pay electronically.
