My grandson Hunter and son/wife bought me two beautiful flowering baskets for Mothers day. I watered them every 4-5 days, fertilized them every two weeks and then decided I would take them out of the all day sun. They still turned brown and died. It's just too hot.

So I ordered some Artificial Flowers that fill the basket and fall over the side in multi colors. I poked them in the soil and arranged them and hung them up on my shepherds hook. They look so nice and I don't have to deal with them anymore. So far through the wind and heavy downpours they have done well. My son loves them and told his wife to do that. It cost me $17.

I put a pic of them on my FB and had many comments. Others told me how their real flowers had died from the heat also. Some of the fake flower arrangements are really beautiful.
