I remember when Al and I were building our house. We had a terrible heat wave the summer of 1988. We were doing all we could, ourselves to build our home debt free. We had a contractor build the structure and outside plus the basement. Then Al and our sons did the inside. Well, I helped anyway I could.

Him and I were shoveling dirt to fill up our large porch inside the cinder blocks with dirt to eventually pour concrete on. I got hotter and hotter until I started feeling very odd and it scared me. We had finished the plumbing so I went in the shower with all my clothes on and let the cold water run over me until I felt more myself. I think it can catch a lot of people by surprise.
