It sound like someone has been feeding this bear by him scratching on windows. If that is the case and the person stopped then the bear may be looking for easy handouts. He could also have been an illegal pet and got to big for person to handle so they turned him loose. I hope they will trap him and relocate him to a safe area for both him and residents. We have had bears in pur area before but not in the past few years. They seem to raid bird feeders and when through return to wherever they came from. So far no one has been hurt just destroyed bird feeders.
