My Al has been with Jesus since Sept 26, 2020. We had been together for 56 years at that time. I still have our pictures up. One place I have a pic of when we were first married then another at 25 years and another at 50 years. He was a handsome man with a beautiful smile.

We did not know Jesus when we married but after we got moved to Tennessee and were here about 2 years we both met Him. We were going to First Baptist church and were very involved. He was asked to be a deacon and was so proud. He was a wonderful husband. I didn't have to be afraid that he would hit me or treat me badly. How I miss him to this day.

Our grandson Hunter loved his papa so much. He had always spent quite a lot of time with us. We took him everywhere with us. When my son's family went up north to visit his wife's family when he was about 5, Hunter called me and wanted me to come up there (800 miles)to be with him. That was so precious.

When Hunter was in a motorcycle accident about 3 years ago and had a brain injury and 5 brain bleeds he said he went to be with his papa. He was out of it for several days. He told us how wonderful everything was and how happy his papa was.
