Do you or have you ever had a lilac bush in your yard?

I have a big one at the corner of my house. One of the bedrooms has 2 windows surrounding it.I always enjoyed opening the windows and letting the breeze blow the fragrance through the house.

Since I can no longer easily get to that bedroom, I haven't done it. Sad to say, I noticed when we went away the last time, it had bloomed and the lilacs were gone, but still a beautiful bush. I sure miss the fragrance in the house.

We had a couple bushes growing up on the farm. Not near the house. We always had vases of lilacs sitting around when they bloomed.
