I came home after visiting the Animal Shelter. After awhile I sat down to read and felt something on my left eye and I took off my glasses and brushed it off. Something fell down on my top. I looked all over it and couldn't find anything. I looked on the inside of my top and there was a small tick. I got it with a tissue and flushed it down the toilet. I do not go in the grass and haven't even sat my porch for days. I have no animals now. I had went out to put my flag up and thought it must have fallen off the rope.
I read awhile and got up and took the small pillow from under my head and there was another identical tick. Neither had bitten me, thank God. So I got it and in the commode it went. I went and took a shower and washed all the clothes. Then I thought I must have gotten them while at the Shelter sitting in the chair. Animals are brought in all day long so the ticks must have come off one of them. So that shows that ticks are bad this year.
