I guess it was riding in a car with 5 others. The owner of the car was in his 20s. He let a 15 year old girl drive it. I was in the back seat. No seat belts in those days. She turned a corner unto my street and pressed on the gas instead of the brake and hit a telephone pole head on. The worse injuries was the owner in the middle of the front seat broke every bone in his face by hitting the dash. I was thrown out and got a hole in my lower leg ( still have the scar) and a concussion.

My mom was in the hospital at the time and when they wheeled me in she happened to see me and fainted. I couldn't remember my name or what day it was for awhile.
