No tornadoes but severe thunderstorms. I have a basement and insisted on one when we built our home. I am from southern Wis./northern ILL. areas and we were known as the tornado belt. So I knew a basement was very important. I wouldn't want to live in a mobile home or in Texas, Oklahoma,Kansas states. They have way too many. I have noticed in the last 10 years they are having them more in the far northern states like Michigan.
