I'm sorry. You tried. Just give it time. And pray. I had a neighbor lady years ago that was very bossy. She was not very well liked. She had a son, my sons age and he was at our house pretty much all day long.And she would drop in and sit 2 or 3 hours.He and my son was always squabbling like kids will do. One day, I got fed up and told Michael to go home and I told my son he couldn't go there for a week. Later, we were sitting around the table eating supper! There was a knock at the door and she burst in demanding to know why Michael couldn't play in my yard.That same cocky attitude she had with others.

I got mad and told her to get out of my house. She said something like, I'll Leave when I'm ready to leave. Honestly, I saw red. I started after her and told her I was going to stomp her butt in the ground! She went out that door with me chasing her.Sad to say, we had neighbors outside and they saw it all. As soon as she was out of the yard
I went back inside. There stood my 3 kids, shocked at what they just saw. And my husbands mouth was open. The neighbors came over, laughing and assuring me I did the right thing.But I didn't feel good about it!

As a young Christian, God convicted me. She was not a Christian. After a couple months of feeling she started it, why should I apologize? and talking to my pastor, I finally told God if he would open a door I would apologize. Just a few weeks later, she called. I feel I heard the Lord say, "I've opened the door".

She was actually calling me to apologize. I told her I was sorry and it wasn't very Christian like of me to do and say what I did. BUT...I also told her I would be nice and treat her decent but we could no longer resume the friendship we once had because her bossiness caused me to anger. Her husband divorced her a few months later because she treated him badly. She moved away but would call every once in a while.

Sorry this is so long but I wanted you to see how God will open a door when its time. Just pray faithfully and that door will open.
