But I really like having them during power outages.They light up the house like lamps, etc. and burn for hours. I usually place one in the kitchen, one in the bathroom, and one in the living room.
A few years ago when we had what they called a "Dry hurricane", we were out of power for a week. Thanks be to the solar lights and my grill, it made it much easier. My grill had a side burner, so I was able to fry, boil,potatoes and veggies while my meat was cooking. Even made fresh coffee.
