Surprisingly, I never took an interest in movies until I was pretty much confined to my recliner. And since I lost my hearing, I don't enjoy them nearly as much. I have to stay with a movie so I can read the closed captioning or I miss a lot.

I pretty much stay on my tablet to keep entertained. But so thankful it was my hearing and not my sight. My sister was legally blind by the time she was in her 60's..

She never complained, she always said if she went completely blind she would still have to thank Him for all the good years she had sight.

I feel bad for Elaine having trouble with hers. She too has been a good example of trusting God. My mother had glaucoma long before she died but was thankful for what vision she had.

She took 3 shots of insulin a day yet she refused to let anyone do it because if they couldn't make it she wanted to not depend on anyone. She had her syringes marked with red nail polish at the proper dosage mark.
