I'd like to add this interesting fact from the Library of Congress newspaper collection.
Exact quote from "Juniata Sentinel and Republic" (Mifflintown, Juniata County, Pennsylvania), dated August 12, 1896.
OFFICIATES AT ROYAL WEDDINGS
The Most Reverend Edward White Benson, ninety-third archbishop of Canterbury, has officiated at the greatest number of royal marriages. Archbishop Benson officiated at the three following royal weddings, namely: Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice to the late Prince Henry Maurice, of Battenberg, on the 23d of July, 1885, at Wippingham Church, in the Isle of Wright; Her Royal Highness Princess Louise, eldest daughter of the Prince of Wales, to the Duke of Fife, at the Chapel Royal, St. James, London, July 22, 1889, and His Royal Highness George Frederick, Duke of York, to Princess Victoria May of Teck, at the same chapel July 6, 1893. He will in all probability officiate at a fourth royal wedding July 22 next---that of Princess Maud, of Wales, to Prince Charles of Denmark.
End of quote.
