Gersende's gown was stunning and she did have an unusual hair style didn't she, but she was beautiful. I always remember her outfit for the civil ceremony, it was unique, but it was the 60's. It's interesting to note that Gersende seemed to copy a medieval style (or even older than medieval, anywhere in the 5th to 13th centuries A.D.) of the hairdo.
