Link: The Lilian Look !
* The wedding gown worn by Princess Lilian when she married the King’s uncle, Prince Bertil, on 7 December 1976, is now on show in the Bernadotte Apartments at the Royal Palace.
The gown was designed by London-based dressmaker Elizabeth Wondrak. Ms. Wondrak worked closely together with Princess Lilian for a great many years and designed no fewer than 29 Nobel gowns and a large number of other ceremonial and royal garments for the Princess.
In an interview in Svenska Dagbladet in 2005, Elizabeth Wondrak spoke about a special "Lilian look" – a soft and refined elegance that was unique to the Princess.
The main exhibition Designs for a Princess – The Lilian Look! will open to the public on Saturday 29 August, and will be on show in the Pillared Hall at the Royal Palace of Stockholm.
