Dear Karen - Thank you for these beautiful pictures of one of my favorite Royal Brides...I would recommend a book by Stephane Bern called "Diane de France - la princess rebelle". It was published by Flammarion in 2003. It is in French, and it is really interesting if you want to find out more about Duchess Diane of Wurtemberg and the Families of France and Wurtemberg. From the pages of Point de Vue and others, it would seem as if she had a "fairytale life" but in reality it was not always so...her childhood was often emotionally painful and difficult, and even after her mariage, her anticonformist attitude was often misunderstood by her family. This book was very surprising to read and was often very touching.I am glad that the Duchess is now having a life that is totally her own, without being "under the thumb of her parents or in-laws."
