Vigorous walking/running may prolong recovery after GAP, no hard data on that so low impact activity is always regarded as OK.
At 6-8 weeks slow progressive stretch and increasing activity should be fine. You're a little over 2 weeks now and so good to continue to go low and slow but walking and general activities of daily living are all good for now. Upper body is ok to work as you choose. High intensity as your body allows after 8 weeks.
Don't be scared, just patient, it will all come in time!
