Dr. D, I have been looking at a bunch of recon photos and of course there are good ones and bad ones. One thing that I have noticed that there seems to be situations where "Football Patches" occur. I don't know how else to describe them but they are marked difference in skin color and it does not always look like it is a result of prior tanning.
Is this a common occurrence and are there particular situations where this happens or is this just a result of photos close to surgery or prior tanning issues and they eventually goes away?
If it is as a result of tanning, if one "glows in the dark" all over (never tanned) would this lower the chances of this occurring? (I have also not had any radiation with the exception of standard cram-o-grams and MRIs)
